Voices in my head
I dedicate this series of artworks to the scientific concept that each person is not a single unified mind but has multiple parts, subpersonalities.
Over the years of my study and practice of the IFS therapy method, I've come to recognize and depict my internal parts. They represent patterns of interacting with the world, which were recorded as successful and safe survival strategies in my childhood.
I invite the viewer to engage with the presented parts and explore their own inner diversity. It may turn out that our differences are not as significant as they seem. Many of our internal patterns are archetypal, shaped by the context of society and culture.
This realization opens a path for connection and understanding, bridging the gap between the individual and the collective experience.
