Mum, Look

The "Mum, Look" Art Project was born out of my reflection on what motivates us to act and achieve. "Mum, look" is often uttered by children to get their mum's attention. It became the project's core symbol for the deep need for recognition and love, particularly from our parents.

MUM, LOOK! MUM, LOOK! MUM, LOOK! MUM, LOOK! MUM, LOOK!

To live through this concept, I dug into my personal story to find what I have done to be seen by my parents, to be significant, and to validate my existence.

The exhibition features paintings, graphics, video art, and performance, all aimed at posing the question, "Is there anything I'm doing today not because I am genuinely interested, but to deserve someone's acknowledgment and feel worthy?"
