Something Important in Arabic

"Something Important" is a clothing capsule that explores the limitations of language in conveying meaning.

The clothes in the collection feature printed phrases like these: "شيء مهم" in Arabic and "大和言葉" in Japanese.

You might wonder what those inscriptions mean, and I reply, it's "Something important" in Arabic, and "Something wise" in Japanese. It might appear as though I'm withholding information. But really, I'm being as open as I can.

This serves as an example of how language can both connect and divide us, and how in the era of globalization, we often wear prints and tattoos without being able to read them.
